Lorraine Pauline –the woman of 53 years old found dead in her home in Ortona last August 18th – she was killed. This is confirmed by the autopsy – which lasted more than five hours – ordered by the prosecutor of Chieti, Giuseppe Falasca and carried out by Professor Cristian D’Ovidio as reported by La Repubblica. The husband is being investigated for the murder Andrea Cieri which, following the results of the autopsy, appointed a consultantDr. Ciro Montemitro.
It was Cieri himself who called for help, saying he had found his wife dying on the sofa. Upon their arrival, the paramedics had noticed a suspicious sign on the woman’s neck, a detail that had changed the hypothesis of deathinitially classified as “illness”. The prosecution had therefore opened a murder investigationfirst against unknown persons and, subsequently, against the victim’s husband.
Cieri, investigated for aggravated voluntary homicidewas heard in the Prosecutor’s Office on the morning of August 21st. During this first interrogation, the man allegedly collaborated, while denying any involvement in the death of his wife.
