“You’re breaking my balls…”, FdI city councilor slaps one of the young organizers of the village festival: “Too much noise”

The man in the black T-shirt and shorts turns and takes a few steps until he reaches a curly-haired boy in a white T-shirt. He tells him, “You pissed me off…” and slaps him. The boy raises his hand to his face, doesn’t react, and incredulously says, “How dare you?” The man is the lawyer Federico Altobelliminority municipal councilor in Sisterin the province of Frosinonecandidate for mayor of the centre-right in the last round and currently group leader of Fratelli d’Italia.

The little boy is Philip Mosticonea law student in Rome and a member of the Sorani Fuorisede association that brings together the city’s young people who have left Sora to attend their studies. The episode occurred around one o’clock last night in Valente Parkat the end of a musical initiative of the association: as per the Ordinance the music had been turned off and the boys were cleaning the square.

The Councilor in recent days complained vehemently about their presence and had made a request for access to the documents to verify the authorizations. The event is in its third edition, gathers a large youth participation and in these evenings has touched on the themes of addictions, youth employment and sexuality welcoming different experiences and schools of thought. “We are astonished – says Mosticone -. We have not received any apologies from the Councilor. We have two more days to demonstrate that we are the complete opposite of the arrogance and aggressiveness that has affected us, but ambassadors of dialogue, meeting, aggregation, healthy fun”.

For his part, the lawyer Federico Altobelli does not deny the evidence and speaks of a situation due to exasperation: “Twenty seconds out of context, preceded by a phone call to 112 with the request to intervene to stop the noise at 4 in the morning after a sleepless night”. And not only that: for the lawyer Altobelli before losing his temper “there had been 4 episodes of provocation, made by one of the young men who repeatedly insulted me”.

But the music was off and the kids were cleaning? “The music on the speakers was off, but the radios were on and some were playing basketball and some were playing table football. And we continued drinking. I repeat, it was 4 in the morning: unacceptable.” Political problem? Absolutely not. “It’s a problem of education. In fact, after my gesture, I said to that kid, ‘I’ll call your mother tomorrow and tell her how rude you are.’
