Sinner continued to play despite the checks: the reason
Jannik Sinner’s positivity dates back to last April: despite the checks, the tennis player has continued to play regularly. How was it possible? The reason it’s simple: as can be read in the Itia press release, in fact, “the player has the right to apply to an independent tribunal president appointed by Sport Resolutions to have the provisional suspension revoked” which is imposed after returning an Adverse Analytical Finding for an unspecified substance, in this case Clostebol. In this case, the world number 1 did appeal successfully against the provisional suspension and was therefore able to continue playing.
