Plane crash Friday August 16th in Francein the bay of Le Lavandou. A jet Fouga Magister CM-170 crashed into the sea during a performance in front of thousands of people and bathers on the beach, causing the death of the pilot. The body of the pilot, the 65-year-old Didier Bergerwas rescued from the sea. His father had died in similar circumstances 21 years ago.
