Rome, 17 August (Adnkronos) – “Many members of the centre-right of Bari, including Forza Italia, are surprised that the new mayor of Lecce has included in the Council a woman who has insulted Pope Francis and recently mocked, in an insulting manner, all the world leaders in Puglia at the G7. The matter was so enormous that the protagonist has renounced, for now, her responsibilities. Those who expressed their indignation were right, but I was honestly not surprised. The climate of impunity that exists in Puglia, with a Prosecutor’s Office that has made its position clear, with the various Emiliano, Decaro and Leccese, in the position of being able to do everything and the opposite of everything, makes us understand how far arrogance can go”.
