Palio di Siena, the Lupa contrada triumphs with the jockey Dino Pes (the oldest) and the horse (debutant) Benitos

The district of the She-wolf wins the Siena Palio dedicated to the Our Lady of the Assumption: the one who triumphs is the Benitos horse (a seven-year-old chestnut gelding at his debut) with the Jockey Dino Pes called “Velluto”: 43 year old Sardinian born in Silanus (Nuoro) Pes is the jockey older and it’s about his first career victory at the Palio di Siena, after having run ten.
