A huge roar, then the alarms and the evacuation from the building. There were moments of panic that involved hundreds of guests of a hotel facility. In the last few hours, in fact, a Helicopter crashes into the roof of a Hilton hotel in Cairns, Australiacausing an explosion that prompted the evacuation of all the people inside the hotel. The incident, which occurred around 1:50 local time, it was filmed by the cell phones of some passers-bywho then published the clip, which quickly went viral on social media.
“The pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft has been located and declared dead: forensic investigations are underway to formally identify him”, the authorities explained in a press release. Two, however, were injured as confirmed by medical personnel, while all the other guests were saved by evacuation procedures. The risk factors were the pieces of the aircraftwho fell onto the street after the crash. One of the propellers, however, flew into the swimming pool, injuring two guests, while another propeller fell onto the square in front of the building.
