There Austrian police arrested two people accused of planning a terroristic attack of jihadist origin during the concerts of the American pop star TaylorSwiftscheduled for tomorrow, Friday and Saturday in Vienna.
As reported by the Austrian newspaper Crown Newspaperthe police have launched a large-scale operation in the city of Ternitz. The residents were evacuated and the streets were closed. The first suspect, a 19-year-old, was arrested here. The second accused was arrested in Vienna.
At the moment, the concerts nthey have not been cancelled. “Visitors should expect delays in arrival and entry, however,” stressed Gerhard Pürstl of the Vienna State Police, as reported by Crown Newspaper. THE checks security measures at concerts will therefore be massive increased.
