A few seconds to announce the sad news in a video: “However, life is so strange… One random day in the summer you discover that you have a malignant cancer“Whoever speaks is Stephen Cirillocontent creator who on TikTok has over 215 thousand followers. Known for his imitations of Chiara Facchetti, also a creator and who became famous for the video about the fear of flying, Cirillo displaces his fans who immediately make him feel affection and closeness.
The 29-year-old shows himself in a car, then while he is having his hair shaved by a nurse and finally on a hospital bed. Despite the difficult moment he is experiencing, Stefano has no doubts: “Everything will be fine”. And it is the same wish that his followers address to him, inviting him not to give up: “We are all rooting for you”, they write, “You are strong”. Many then try to encourage him by saying that they have been through the same ordeal and have come out victorious: “I was 29 when I was diagnosed, on my 30th birthday I learned that it was gone and now I’m 38″ is the comment of one of her supporters, “I was diagnosed with lymphoma last year in May, in October I was cured. Embrace every feeling as much as possible and believe in it to the end”, are the words of another fan.
Responding to one of the many comments, the creator explains how he discovered the terrible disease: “The blood tests were fine, I discovered leukemia from an MRI and further tests. Don’t stop at blood tests”. Furthermore, the tests would have started from a back pain that he had been suffering from for some time.
On Instagram, instead, he published a story to thank the wave of affection that has been overwhelming him for a few hours now: “I won’t be able to respond to everyone, but I see you, I feel you very strongly and I thank you from the bottom of my heart”. Then the response to those who, while wishing him good luck, do not agree with the fact of telling this painful battle on social media: “Unfortunately when you are not in this situation you don’t understand that the most important thing is the support of people and mental support” explains Cirillo. “The fact that thanks to this sharing I feel better and full of strength is healthy. The fact that among these millions of views there will surely be hundreds of people with cancer who will have felt understood is healthy”.
