That the child, found with a few scratches but in good condition, was taken there in the woods, near the fig tree, where he was later found is a hypothesis that is becoming more and more widespread. The parents, who thanked the fellow citizens who were involved in the search en masse, consider it strange that their son, a child described as quiet, from their home in the Serralta district be sent away alonegetting lost in the woods.
