“I would have been a piece of shit if I hadn’t gone to Eleonora Giorgi. In times of need it was logical to be by her side”: Massimo Ciavarro talks about his ex-wife

Eleonora Giorgi is facing a very difficult moment in his life, due to pancreatic cancer. Difficult moments in the family, but cheered by the affection of her son Paolo, her family and her ex-husband Massimo Ciavarro, who was at her side even in the hospital.

“I would have been a piece of shit if I hadn’t gone,” she told The print – For me it was the most normal thing in the world. Even though we hadn’t spoken to each other very often lately, it was logical to be by her side in times of need. I was happy to see her joy and that of my son Paolo (…) Eleonora was my wife, a fundamental part of my life, we had a son, nothing can erase her. It’s natural, there’s nothing artificial in our bond”.

The two experienced a great love and their marriage lasted three years, from 1993 to 1996: “With Eleonora it wasn’t love at first sight. – Ciavarro revealed – We met again a year after the shooting, thanks to an invitation from Enrico Lucherini, at Cecchi Gori’s house, during an evening in Sanremo. On the set of ‘Sapore di mare 2’ inwe had become friends, one day, during a break in the production, we had met by chance, we had both taken a bike to go for a ride in Forte dei Marmi, we had just shot that famous scene ‘cold pizza and warm beer’, we wanted to relax, we had some drinks, we started chatting, we got to know each other a little better”. Then the great bond made of love and sincere affection.
